Mouna Mozhi..
Whats that?? Thats the language by which my inner soul speaks to me...
At times I used to pen down whatever my inner soul tells me... Want to post those thoughts for long time. But something stopped me always. Finally the day arrived..
Let me start with..
Three things that impressed me soooooooooo much... Im proud to be an Indian..
# THULIR - www.thulir.org
"THULIR" is an Education Resource Centre for children and young adults at Sittilingi which is a tribal village in Dharmapuri district of Tamilnadu, India.
When i came to know about the sacrifice of Anuradha and Krishna im completely lost... Hats off to you guys.. I dont have words to explain about the way you guys live. Because of you guys i came to know that there were many places in India where none of the basic facilities are available.First i got shocked when i came to know that there is no power supply in the village you guys live. Then i realised that its my unawareness. But i took an oath that i will help my Mother India in all the possible ways i can.
# ROPE - www.ropeinternational.com
ROPE is a social enterprise that provides global customers access to rural artisans who manufacture diverse products
I cannot forget oct 3rd in my life. The day i met Mr. Sreejith (CEO of ROPE). His patience, politeness, simplicity,.... etc made me to think a lottttt. God gave me an oppurtunity to work for my rural India's development.
He encouraged me a lot.. He understood where my real passion lies.. He showed me the way where i should go.. Thanks Sree.. :)
Im yet to contribute my 100 percent of time for ROPE but i think about ROPE always. Whenever i get some thoughts i share it with Sree.. Thanks a lot sree for bearing with me.. :)
#BHUMI - www.bhumichennai.org
Change today.. Change tomorrow
I can never forget my experience in Bhumi.. I came to know about bhumi from ergo. I felt happy because i like to teach kids. I mailed them and joined as a volunteer over there.
Im an alien to bhumi. My frist day experience in DR. PV Rao high school was unforgettable. Dr. Prahalathan told me to come over there by 9.45. I reached the school by 9 o'clk. All the kids were having their breakfast. They were sitting in the groud. They splitted into
groups. One of the guy was sitting alone. I just started the conversation with him like why he is sitting alone.. he likes to be alone it seems.. so i prolonged my conversation with him by asking about the subject he likes, the food he likes, etc.
After that lot of kutties called me, they offered me food.. though i did not accepted the offer i felt so happy because of the love and affection they showed to a person they never know. I felt like they are well cultured boys. I chit chated with those kids. Then
a car arrived. Met a doctor(Dont know her name). She was an elderly person and she is so lovely. She took me to all the kids rooms. I was surprised. All the rooms were so neat. Dresses were arranged properly. Very nice and patriotic posters were pasted here and there.
I felt great about those kids. Then the doctor left. She blessed me :) Some of the BHUMIANs were there. I just went and introduced myself to them. Then Dr. Prahalathan came. He took us to the class where the Bhumians started teaching.
I started observing them. Its a great pleasure to sit with kids and enjoy the classes. Two hrs went off just like that. Kids were so good and innocent..
Each and everyone are talented in some way. After long time i felt very happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. As a bhumian i want to do my best in the forthcoming days.
Day 1 and 2: Lessons learnt
# How to talk with the people whom we never know without any hesitation
# Real love without any expectations
# How to keep the living place neat even if its small with very little facilities
Im so thankfull to the kids in PV Rao school for teaching me so many things which i never thought of..
Thanks to all Bhumians for giving me such a great oppurtunity.
